About Us - Tēnā koutou katoa

We are situated within the Ashburton College campus between the Ashburton Community Pool and the Adult Learning Centre, Menorlue. We are a community based preschool that operates under a Governance Committee, which is a parent co-operative.    We have a licensee who oversees our operations.

Our practice is supported by policies, which you are welcome to read at any time.

Our programme runs from 8 a.m. through to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.   We have a maximum of 26 children between 6 months and 5 years old attending at any one time, up to 6 of these may be infants under 2 years of age.  We pride ourselves on our close family focus.

Our ratios are a low one adult to eight children 2-5 years and one adult to four infants for children 6 months until 2 years.
Our under 2 year old children have a Primary Caregiver to care for them.
