Why did you choose Phoenix Preschool to send your child to?
Like the family feel and being able to be apart of my child's education. The staff are great and always welcoming and I was able to come and breastfeed which was a huge part of choosing this Centre. It was the only Centre I felt comfortable leaving my child in.
I had heard only wonderful things about Phoenix from many former families whose kids had also attended there. I was also drawn to the large outdoor area which I have enjoyed seeing such progress on over our 5 years at this preschool. I also loved the smaller numbers.
Great reputation, wonderful Centre location with regard to access to the community i.e walks to College, Library and Rosebank, as well big outdoor play area. The outdoor play area has since been transformed into an amazing space.
Originally I loved the small numbers in the under twos and had been to phoenix as a child so always had a draw to it. Since being involved at Phoenix I love the community spirit and values associated with the center. I also really love the idea of school holidays and Christmas flexibility associated.
At the time it was because it was so close to home, and I liked the environment when we first visited. Now that we’ve moved a bit further away I wouldn’t even consider changing after seeing how much my child loves it. Also had heard great things about it from others with children there.
I loved the small numbers, the staff had a wonderful rapport with the children. My son & I loved the big outdoor area. I liked the shorter opening hours, to ensure teachers and children are well rested.
Phoenix’s Reputation - the fact it is community based - I liked the integration of the two rooms - the general feeling of the Centre at the time we chose, especially the warmness extended by teachers - the low number of children at the time - large outdoor environment.
Wanting a preschool that supported growth and education. Somewhere where I felt my child would be able to grow in the environment and feel supported and cared about

Phoenix Preschool is a fabulous preschool. We cannot speak highly enough of the wonderful, kind and caring staff who work at Phoenix. The teachers are so welcoming and always go beyond the call of duty. Their preparation of the excellent family evenings/events held several times throughout the year, are just one of the many activities demonstrating their absolute dedication to their job, and commitment to the children and families of the Preschool. Phoenix continues to provide a wonderful learning experience for Harrison and Margo, and we feel reassured that they are left in such safe and caring hands.

I can’t speak highly enough about Phoenix Preschool, the team of staff and the environment they provide for our two girls. We have felt full support as our girls have grown with all their stages of development. Phoenix has values that support and enhance those of our own family. For us knowing that our girls are happy, safe, cared for and experiencing so many great things, this is absolutely the most important thing. Phoenix Preschool is all of those things.

Phoenix preschool has provided our four children with an amazing start to their educational journey. The passion and dedication of the staff is second to none and our children have developed close relationships with both the teachers and their peers. The caring, nurturing and engaging environment that is provided has ensured our children have felt at ease and secure. Phoenix has allowed and encouraged them to have the confidence to challenge themselves , step outside of their comfort zone, make discoveries and move forward in their learning. We feel so grateful that the teachers know our children so well and notice the ‘small things’ which can so often be the ‘big things’ in a child's world.
